How would most of us survive without our dishwashers? Some of us actually don’t really mind doing the dishes with our hands and that’s really cool, but for those of us who can’t do that, we need our dishwashers to do it for us. Here is how to clean a dishwasher that smells.
Can you even imagine doing the dishes by hand after large cooking, like a family cookout, BBQ, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day dinners, I am sure you can’t imagine that.
However, anything that is used frequently with water will attract sediments, which are the remains of the water.
if you must know, water contains calcium that when dried, will form a hard white particle. This is called limescale and can be very hard to remove.
That’s not your biggest problem, believe it or not, there are a lot of other disgusting things building up in your dishwasher’s drain.
These are hidden gunk and grime and they are in our dishwashers’ drain. This can cause the drain to be blocked, pushing back all that grime and gunk on the dishes, and when you run your washer all that bacteria come out on your dishes and onto your table.
NOPE, that’s will have to stop. Cleaning your dishwasher is the only way to be sure that your dishes are clean.
CLEANING THE DRAIN
Remove the racks, measure 1/2 cup baking soda, and 1 cup INDUSTRIAL VINEGAR in separate containers. Next, you will be needing a little pot of [hot water] but that’s for later so you can go ahead and set it on the stove.
Pour vinegar and baking soda down that little basket at the bottom of your dishwasher. Let it sit for 30 minutes. This is your dishwasher’s drain. NOTE: INDUSTRIAL VINEGAR IS ONLY USED FOR CLEANING PURPOSES, NOT FOR CONSUMPTION.
