Inside: Looking for the perfect homemade all-purpose cleaner? This easy DIY all-purpose cleaner with Dawn dish soap only takes minutes to make. Plus, you probably already have the ingredients at home to make it.
I love creating my own cleaners to make at home. Not only do they work better than the store-bought cleaners but they also save me money. A few years ago I started using this homemade all-purpose cleaner and I love it. It’s great to use in the bathroom for a quick spray down.
You can use it on the toilets, shower, and tub. It’s got vinegar and lemon essential oil and they both kill germs and bacteria so it can also be used around the house to wipe down door handles and light switches. It can be used on just about all hard surfaces except for granite and real marble. I do use it on my cultured marble sinks without any problems.
This homemade all-purpose cleaner is so easy to make. It only takes a few minutes to whip up a batch and can be used just about anywhere in the house. Check out how to make some below.
Ingredients to Make Homemade All Purpose Cleaner
To make the cleaner you will need a few ingredients. Most you probably already have around the house. Plus, you will need a spray bottle to store it in.
Ingredients:
- Vinegar
- dish soap
- lemon essential oil
- water
- spray bottle
I recommend getting your spray bottles on Amazon because they are so much cheaper there than in the store. I know some people like to use old cleaning bottles that are empty but I always like to buy new so I mix any chemicals together that shouldn’t be mixed.
